Description This course is designed for senior neurotology/otology residents seeking to develop a clear and practical understanding of the anatomy relevant to otologic surgery. Course topics include canal wall up and canal wall down mastoidectomy, cartilage tympanoplasty, ossicular reconstruction, cochlear implantation and labrynthectomy. This course will consist of didactic lectures, case discussions and hands-on temporal bone dissections.

Notes Registration
Registration includes lodging for 2 nights (room and tax) at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center Hotel (two residents assigned per double room), roundtrip coach airfare, tuition, meals at the course and a $40 taxi stipend to and from the SLC airport and hotel.

Registration does not include incidentals at the hotel, transportation to and from the home city airport, meals outside the course agenda. Applicants will be accepted on a first-come basis.

The course is limited to 18 attendees. Apply online early! You will be notified by email when your application is received. A second email will indicate whether you are accepted into the course or are waitlisted.

Academic Event Management will provide 2 nights (room and tax) with two residents assigned per double sleeping room. We will make these reservations for you.

Travel
Academic Event Management will provide roundtrip coach airfare and will contact you to make these reservations for you.

At the course, you will be issued a $40 taxi stipend to and from the SLC airport and hotel. You will need to arrange your own Uber when you arrive in SLC and for your return to the SLC airport.

Meals will only be provided at the course. Please do not plan to bring a spouse/guest, since we cannot accommodate these individuals at the hotel or course in compliance with the AdvaMed Code of Ethics.
Please do not arrange travel and lodging on your own since you will not be reimbursed.
