ISPS Joint Activity February 19, 2018 2:15pm-4:30pm
Private Guided Hike at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Transportation will be provided-Meet in hotel lobby at 2:15pm

The private guided hikes at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve will offer scenic views of the Pacific Ocean as you walk the trails in this rare coastal park. Torrey Pines is designated as a State Natural Reserve, so it is not your typical state park. A natural reserve status is assigned to an area of importance, and typically is one that contains threatened or rare plants, animals, habitats or geologic formations. Of the 280 units in the California State Parks system, only 14 have reserve status and Torrey Pines is one of them.
Our group will be split into smaller groups of 10-12 people and each assigned their own guide. Your guides will lead the groups on the various trails within the Reserve while educating you on the park’s history, geology, plants, animals and anything interesting that you come across along the trail!
