| Description | There are many challenges to the delivery of neurointensive care in the emerging future. Intensive care will occupy over 1/2 of acute care hospital beds within the next decade and will be the focus of intense pressure to both improve care while limiting cost. The design of Neuroscience centers of excellence will also be addressed. Pertinent information technology, advanced imaging techniques, and outcomes based research will be increasingly used to achieve these goals. |
