Target Audience
Senior neurosurgical and otology residents (residents in their final year will be given priority)
Description
This interactive cadaver program is designed specifically for upper level residents specializing in Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery who have a desire to gain advanced knowledge and skills in skull base surgery. This course has a heavy practicum emphasis in which surgical approaches and procedures, the prevention and management of complications and clinical outcomes will be covered. Discussion will emphasize basic and advanced endonasal approaches, approaches to the anterior skull base, as well as the anatomy and techniques of eyebrow craniotomies and open skull base approaches.

Registration
Space is limited to 20 participants for the 2 day course. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. ENT Residents must be 4th or 5th year and Neuro Residents must be 5th-7th year.
Accommodations
Coach airfare and 2 nights lodging at The Carolina Inn will be provided and air carrier will be determined on an individual basis
Course Attire - Business Casual - Please bring your own scrubs for the lab.
